Explore the Himalayas, experience Nepal, and see wild red pandas for yourself. All while directly impacting red panda conservation and the local communities.
RPN specializes in red panda conservation travel. We believe that small groups are best for authentic wildlife viewing, providing meaningful nature experiences, and getting to know rural communities. Our small-groups have a minimum size of 2 and a maximum of 8.
RPN's ecotrips are not the same old homogenous tours offered by most companies – we offer rare visits and wildlife experiences that are out of reach for the typical traveler. When trip participants return home they have a stronger connection with the natural world and a deeper desire to protect it.

RPN offers some of the smallest ecotrip experiences in conservation travel — a maximum of 8 participants per trip.
On an ecotrip, you will enjoy rich and delicious meals freshly prepared by locals at your homestays, in tea houses, and local restaurants. Homestay operators have been certified in food safety techniques. We accomodate meat, vegan, and vegetarian options.
Planned and guided by locals, RPN's ecotrips immerse you in Nepalese culture — from the rural communities in the Himalayan Cloud Forests to the capitol city of Kathmandu. Experience Nepal from a local's perspective, staying in homestays and exploring popular cultural sites.
Experience the real Nepal by staying in local homestays. These homestays are welcoming, comfortable, and an intimitate experience of Nepali culture from local people. Homestay personnel are trained in effective sanitation and food safety standards.
Hike through the Himalayan Cloud Forest, track wild red pandas, and see famous peaks like Mount Everest and Mount Kangchenjunga. RPN's ecotrips are a unique travel experience made for nature lovers like you.
