Red Panda Biology and Conservation of the First Panda 2nd Ed

Red Panda: Biology and Conservation of the First Panda, Second Edition, provides the most up-to-date research, data, and conservation solutions for the red pandas, Ailurus species. Since the publication of the previous edition in 2010, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) updated the threat level of red pandas, and they are now considered to be endangered. This latest edition is updated to provide an in-depth look at the scientific and conservation-based issues urgently facing the red panda today.

Red Panda Governance Standard

2023-2026 (Pilot Version 1.0)

This voluntary standard is based on participatory research with forestry sector parties in Red Panda habitat area to develop methodologies for assessing the governance quality of the Red Panda sector programs, projects, and activities in Nepal. The research was conducted during Jan 2020 –Dec 2022. The Standard has been developed in collaboration between Griffith University, University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Kathmandu Forestry College, Red Panda Network, and Nepalese stakeholders, including the government, CFUGs, and civil society organizations.
